1. Overview

NCLEX Nerds ("we," "us," "our") operates nclexnerds.com, a web-based platform providing NCLEX-RN preparation including video lessons, NGN-format practice questions, MeSH-aligned medical terminology, and PubMed-linked literature. By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms.

2. Subscription & Billing

We offer two paid options:

• Monthly subscription: a recurring monthly charge that renews automatically until you cancel.
• Annual access: a one-time payment that grants 365 days of access from the purchase date.

By subscribing or purchasing annual access, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable amount on the date of purchase, and (for monthly subscriptions only) on the same date each subsequent month until you cancel.

You will receive a receipt via email for each payment.

3. Inaugural Launch Rate

During our launch window we offer an inaugural rate via the LAUNCH promo code. When applied, the discounted rate locks in for the life of your monthly subscription — meaning even when public pricing increases, your monthly rate stays at the inaugural rate as long as your subscription remains continuously active.

Canceling forfeits the inaugural rate. If you cancel and later re-subscribe, you re-subscribe at whatever the public rate is at that time.

The inaugural rate also applies to one-time annual purchases made during the launch window. Annual purchases do not auto-renew, so the inaugural rate doesn't carry forward to a future re-purchase.

4. What's Included

A paid plan grants you full access to:

• All video lessons across every unit in the NCLEX-RN curriculum
• The full NCLEX-style practice question bank, including NGN item types (bowtie, matrix, select-N, case-study cohorts) — every new question we add is included free for users with active access
• All MeSH-aligned medical terminology with spaced repetition
• PubMed literature references on every lesson
• Progress tracking across lessons, vocab, and practice

5. Free Tier

Users who create a free account receive full access to Unit 1 (Cardiovascular) — every lesson video, vocabulary term, and practice question in that unit, with no time limit and no credit card required.

Free tier access does not expire. Upgrading to a paid plan unlocks all remaining units and the full question bank.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your Account page. Cancellation is self-service and takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no email or phone call required.

Upon cancellation, your access continues through the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again. Once your billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.

Annual access is a one-time purchase and does not renew. There is nothing to cancel — access simply expires 365 days after the purchase date.

7. All Purchases Are Final

All purchases are final and non-refundable. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will not receive a refund for forgetting to cancel your monthly subscription
• You will not receive a refund for not using the service
• You will not receive a refund for deciding the service is not right for you
• You will not receive a refund for unused time on annual access
• You will not receive a partial refund for unused time within a billing period

We may issue a refund at our discretion only if a technical issue on our end prevented you from accessing the service. We may also extend your access period on a case-by-case basis if you contact support.

8. Before Disputing a Charge

If you have questions about a charge, reach out to us before filing a dispute with your bank or credit card company. Email support@nclexnerds.com.

9. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Each account is for individual use only and may not be shared with others. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.

10. Content Ownership

All course content — video lessons, practice questions, explanations, terminology, study materials, and the platform software itself — is the intellectual property of NCLEX Nerds. Your subscription or annual purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own NCLEX preparation purposes. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or republish any content.

11. No Outcome Guarantee

We operate with due regard for proper learning — building the platform around how nurses actually study and what the NCLEX actually tests. But we do not guarantee that you will pass the NCLEX. Ultimately, the learner bears responsibility for using the tools properly and ultimately passing on their own accord.

Nothing on this platform should be construed as medical advice, clinical guidance, or a substitute for professional judgment in patient care. The content is intended for examination preparation only.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
